Hope for home.

I come from a land where the breeze does sparkle, I come from a land where the water is blue. I have strayed far away from the place I belong, A place too good to be true.

Time has slipped by in pursuit of that stream, Where the waters dance in the moonlight beam. So distant seem the memories now, Will I ever go back? I wonder how.

I know but deep within, that somewhere does exist, A land where beauty dwells in the crystal mist.

Until then I will go on with a grateful heart, For the many voyages of which I have been a part. I welcome the storms and cherish the sunshine; For hope is what gets me through every single time.
