Recently I’ve been reading up quite a lot on how one can tune into a certain frequency and thus drastically improve or decrease their quality of life. I’ve known this for a long time now – that everything around is energy and so are we. You’ve probably heard of it too. The problem is I didn’t really know how to do it and severely lacked the amount of patience and peace of mind required to do anything about it.
Also not to leave out the fact that my mind constantly operates at a dangerously high speed, sometimes even having several thoughts on various different topics at once.
Even if peace wants a way in it would probably be like “Uhh no thank you, it’s too crowded in there”.
SO anyway, let me present to you some scattered thoughts on the things I’ve read and sort of understood on all of this and I hope you will find some useful information here or atleast have a good laugh.
Now, what is reality? What is real? The answer is – Probably nothing at all. If everything is energy, then it is obvious that every thing, person and event changes or affects the other in some way or the other. Does this make sense?
Let me explain. Our minds operate at a certain frequency. The frequency you are at may be the result of life experiences, teachings or whatever else I don’t know. When you have a thought, you essentially focus your energy on it and transmit a signal of that thought into the world – because??? Your thoughts are energy! YOU are energy! I said that before! Pay attention!
We end up blaming people, circumstances or even our rotten fate for the things that happen to us in life, but the reality of it all is that everything we experience, from the smallest to the most significant event in our life is created by us.
Each and every thought, each bad day, each day you wake up not feeling your best, you created that. No thought goes unnoticed. When you think of something, focus your energy there, then just move on to thinking about something else, do you think the previous thought just vanishes? NO my friend, just NO. It gets embedded in your mind. It sits there in a corner sending out all the wrong signals to the universe thus attracting unwanted circumstances into your life.
Now that you know this, would you ever entertain another negative thought again? So how do we maintain a constant peaceful and happy state of mind? Well the answers are many and from what little I have found, I think we may be off to a good start.
Obviously. In order to maintain a healthy mind, a right diet is extremely necessary. I don’t mean eating broccoli all day and a piece of tasteless protein. I mean conscious consumption. Be aware of what you eat. Wholesome food, less processed food, and for heaven’s sake put that sickening carbonated beverage down. Fast food is also a complete no-no. It’s a small price to pay for a healthy mind. No?
Start your mornings well.
I’ve tried this so I can tell you it works. For the first 5 minutes after you wake up every morning, your brain is in the Alpha state. The rest of the day as we go about our usual tasks and functions we are in the Beta state. We’re probably in Beta now. But the Alpha state, is the resting state of the brain. It is the state you are in when you are completely present in the now. This state is great to set intentions for the day and visualize the rest of the day. Being conscious of your thoughts and feelings in this state will help you remain in the same calm frequency throughout the day. When you wake up every morning, sit up straight. Bring yourself to feel the calmth in the moment. If you feel like you’ve woken up in a bad mood, this is the best time to correct that. Never start your day with negativity. Think happy thoughts, think of the things you are grateful for and get up only once you’ve brought yourself to a better state of mind. Wake up earlier if you feel that this might take some time. When you do this exercise, you tune into the frequency of your choice, and thus set the intention for the day ahead. Trust me it works.
Now there are numerous other ways to go about elevating your frequency and attracting the life of your dreams, but these are the basics. Once your foundations are strong, and you(and me) get on track with these two points, we can move ahead onto other ways.
I’ll blog about the things I learn on my journey to tuning the mind, and I hope we can all learn from each other and grow together!
