We are in our physical entirety
Beings of stubborn constitution
Holding so dearly in our palms
Alms of egoistic waywardness
Our eyes cloaked by the deceit of generations
Could it be, that those who know better walk amongst us?
Living in ridicule, shunned into silence
By our inability to set aside our burdenous lies
Have we been made so accustomed to the dark
That the light now pierces our eyes?
Will there be a salvation? Will fate lead us there?
Or after all our battles on what lies beyond,
We’ll all turn to dust, doomed to the fate of the winds,
to scour the lands for eternity?
Are we salvageable? or gone so far astray
That the worlds beyond
Just want to keep us away?
